WORKING HOURS IN GOVERNMENT OFFICES

1078 SHRI S. SELVAGANABATHY:

Will the PRIME MINISTER be pleased to state:

(a) whether Government is in the process of increasing the man hour work from 8 hours to 12 hours a day in all Government establishments;

(b) if so, whether Government will invite suggestions from various corners before its implementation; and

(c) whether Government will convey the pros and cons of increasing the man hour work in a day to 12 hours?
